Dining
Chairs
The chair is one of a set designed by Top Notch, the inspiration
coming from a combination of Charles Rennie Mackintosh's work
and Gothic style observed in an old Bishop's chair. The combination
of upholstered seat and tall back make it exceptionally comfortable
with good support. It was made from ash, although any type
of timber and finish can be specified according to requirements.
Sideboard
This sideboard was designed by a customer. It is made from
sycamore, the grain of which is very figured and rippled.
The back has been fully finished which allows for it to be
free-standing away from the wall. All the drawers are made
with a hard-wearing beech frame and traditional dovetail joints.
The top of the sideboard is created from a solid sycamore
board.
Drop
Leaf Table
This table was designed for a situation where space was at
a premium. It can be used in the folded position, as a side
table with a lamp, or it can be pulled out, with the leaves
extended, and serve as a very useful coffee table. It has
been made from solid English oak and finished in it's natural
colouring.
Renovations
Renovations and repairs to existing items of furniture can
be carried out. The illustration shows a nursing chair that
arrived in pieces. The framework was repaired and reassembled.
All the upholstery was then renewed, bringing an old chair
back to life.
Oak
Armchair
This armchair was made for a customer who specified the dimensions
as well as the style of the chair. It was designed to hold
various loose cushions to pad out and snuggle in to. A. really
comfortable piece of furniture.
Christening
Chests
A unique and innovative gift for a new arrival in any
family, these Christening Chests have proved to be one of
our most popular items. Made from solid English oak, the chest
stores all the precious memorabilia of baby and childhood
and is an ideal gift at the time of the christening. A beautiful
piece of furniture in it's own right, the Christening Chest
itself becomes a family heirloom which can be passed on to
future generations as a thing of beauty which will never fade.
